As a current participant, one thing I would tell people interested in this program is to just do it. It is so worth it to study abroad and Scotland is a great place to start. The locals are nice and friendly and helpful, you get a taste of a different culture, and you just have a great time. I honestly don’t want to leave. Sure I miss my friends and family, but Scotland just has this little something that draws you to it and makes you fall in love. To their worries about expenses, the only real expense that is beyond that of a regular semester is the plane ticket cost. Other than that you get to choose what you spend and which house trips you go on. There are so many cool opportunities that you can get out of this program as well that you couldn’t get elsewhere.

Basically what I’m saying is “Give it a bash” or just give it a go.
